期末英文口試,紅色部分Receptionist全背
希望在未來十年用得到,也希望我在十年後沒有後悔學單字和片語
現在只好安慰自己一切只是為了pass過去哩
Receptionist: Good afternoon, Reception Desk.
Sofia: Hello, this is Sofia Huang in Room 143. My friend and I checked in this morning.
Receptionist: Good afternoon, Ms. Huang. How may I help you?
Sofia: Well, there are some problems with our rooms.
Receptionist: I see. Could you tell me what the problems are?
Sofia: The television in my room doesn’t work and the bedside lamp in Room 145 seems to be broken.
Receptionist: I’m sorry. I’ll send the maintenance staff to fix them.
Sofia: Actually, would it be possible to change to rooms with a view?
Receptionist: I’m sure that’s possible, but I need to check with the manager.
Sofia: That’s fine.
Receptionist: May I call you back in a few minutes?
Sofia: Sure. Thank you.
Hiro: Hello.
Receptionist: Hello, Mr. Takeda. This is Reception. Ms. Huang called about the problem in your room. We’d like to apologize for any inconvenience.
Hiro: Oh, thanks for calling. Are we able to change rooms?
Receptionist: I talked to the manager, and we’d be happy to change your rooms.
Hiro: Can we do that now?
Receptionist: Well, I’m sorry, but we don’t have any vacant rooms on a non-smoking floor today. However, we do have two slightly smaller rooms available tomorrow. They’re on the 9th floor which is non-smoking. They’re nice rooms, but they only have single beds.
Hiro: Oh, I see. So, we can’t change rooms today?
Receptionist: We do have nice large rooms on the 11th floor, with twin beds and a nice view that are available now. But they’re on a smoking floor.
Hiro: Oh.
Receptionist: In fact, those rooms are normally $70 more a night than your rooms. But I can let you have them for no extra change.
Hiro: Really? And they have a nice view of the lake?
Receptionist: Yes, a beautiful view. They’re our most expensive rooms.
Hiro: Well, OK then. We’ll take them.
Receptionist: That’s great. I can send someone up in a few minutes to move your bags.
Hiro: Thanks a lot.
Receptionist: And, Mr. Takeda, once again we apologize for the inconvenience.
Hiro: Oh, that’s no problem. We appreciate your help.
