I think you might have heard about the 18th September 2011 earthquake in Sikkim . Due to this earthquake, western part of Bhutan also experienced about 6.9 (on richter scale) intensity earthquake and this had caused lot of damage to the structures. I have attached all the pictures of damages done to the structures of lhakhang and monks residence where i stay.
