Most people believe that parents play an important role in shaping a child’s personality. But, new studies on children’s personalities have show that the influence of parents is not as important as many people think. I have read a report on twins who were brought up by different parents. The twins’ personalities were almost the same, even though their parents were very different. So the influence of our genes on our personality may be much more important than our parents’ influence. But that is not the end or the story. According to my teaching experience, friends have a big influence on a child’s personality too. Children grow up in two different worlds: one at home an one at school.... @};-
