There are 223 days till 2008. Another problem is that during the teenage years, the human body goes through changes that affect its "sleep clock." Many adolescents are just not physically ready to fall asleep until 11:00 pm or later. The average teenagers need about nine hours of sleep, but many students sleep less than seven hours because they need to get to school by 7:30 am or even earlier. That's why they experience sleepiness during the day. Many students’ parents think school times should be adjusted so that their children can sleep later in the morning. They say it is time for high schools to have later starting and finishing times to help students achieve their full potential. But, our school does not agree. They are afraid of changing school hours in case it would cause problems such as extra operating costs. @};-
